In 1951, a small group of Australian and New Zealand families in Kuala Lumpur came together with a simple yet powerful purpose: to create a place of connection, camaraderie, and cultural belonging far from home.
Seventy-five years later, that spirit remains at the heart of MANZA — a vibrant community bringing people together through friendship, shared experiences, and a sense of belonging.
About MANZA
The Malaysian Australian New Zealand Association (MANZA) is a long-established community organisation for Australians, New Zealanders, and friends of all nationalities living in Malaysia.
We provide a welcoming space to connect, socialise, and build lasting relationships — whether you’re newly arrived or have been here for years.
What We Offer
MANZA brings people together through a wide range of activities and events, including:
Social events and gatherings
Cultural celebrations (ANZAC Day, Waitangi Day, Australia Day, Matariki)
Clubs and regular activities (Mahjong, Bridge, coffee mornings)
Family-friendly events and community initiatives
Networking and partnership opportunities
Members can expect more activity, more variety, and real value throughout the year.
A Community That Feels Like Home
MANZA is more than a club — it’s a community anchor. For many, it is the place where friendships begin, support networks form, and life in Malaysia feels more connected.
We are proudly independent, with our own identity and community, while sharing a clubhouse in Bangsar with ABWM.
