Junior Rugby
Bintang Rugby Club meet every Sunday from 3-5pm at Padang Utara in Petaling Jaya.
The club is run free of charge by volunteer parents, many of them having received IRB qualifications.
Presently training attracts boys every week with ages ranging from 5 to 19. Coaches are allocated to each age group and the groups are further split by experience and ability to ensure safe enjoyment for all.
The club has also has a section for girls touch rugby that sees about 20 players attending training.
The club organizes games for the older boys in Malaysia and hosts clubs from overseas who bring teams at all ages. They also travel for games at all ages to regular events in Singapore and Thailand.
Newcomers are warmly welcomed to the rugby and their parents to the after training cool down at near by 'Out of Africa' bar.
